The history of the Jersey Petanque Club has its origins in friendly games of boules on St. Ouen’s beach, progressing to more challenging encounters on campsites in France and culminated in regular gatherings of enthusiasts at the Old Portelet Inn before the club was eventually established in April 1986.
Four local residents had first proposed the idea for a club in Jersey and through the columns of the local Jersey Evening Post, they encouraged others to join them. First result of 2014
The results of the Mens & Ladies Doubles are at the results page and the report of the visit from the Coutances team is also available. The next major event is the visit by the Club to Coutances over the weekend of 22nd to 24th August. Carreaux, Pointing & Pot Luck continues on Tuesday 9th September.
The 2013 Results have now been archived and are available at the Results Archive page. Further results, including those of the Club's trip to Coutances will be added as & when available.
