SPRING/AUTUMN SPECIAL MELEES
The Autumn round of the above competition was played at Les Quennevais on Sunday 5th October and the results were as follows:
Autumn Melee Results
Ladies 1st Joy Hart, three wins plus 11 2nd Maggie Allchurch, two wins plus 13 3rd= Joan Le Mercier & Kath Burt, two wins plus 12.
Mens 1st Ron Le Herrissier, three wins plus 17 2nd Patrick Campbell, three wins plus 11 3rd Fred Paisnel, two wins plus 17.

JSAD Series
Three series of petanque were recently held for a number of people with learning and other disabilities, in conjunction with the JSAD. The final event was on Wednesday 16th July, when medals were presented. This year the winners were:
Best Male: Kenny Hamon
Best Female: Janet Vibert

June 29th - PBS Invitation Doubles Competition
The Jersey Petanque Club PBS Invitation Match was played on Sunday June 29th. Each pair was made up of a club member (C) and their invitee (I) and played four games.
The final result was extremely close and for the third year running, Matthew & Sue Pinel took top place.
The results were:
First Matthew (C) and Sue Pinel (I) 4 wins plus 36
Second Graham Follain (C) & Sarah Le Cornu (I) 4 wins plus 34
Third Lawrence Rondel (C) and David Le Cornu (I) 4 wins plus 33
