ANNUAL DINNER AND AWARDS 2008
At the recent Annual Awards Dinner held at the Shakespeare Hotel, Player of the Year was Lawrence Rondel, who amassed
66 points by not only winning two of the major competitions but being placed highly in three of the others. Close behind in
second place with 60 points was Mick Rondel and third was Pru Vibert with 52 points.
Winners of a new trophy, the Cynthia Michel Memorial trophy, donated by Rita Le Brocq, were the highest scorers in the
combined Spring & Autumn Melees, Joan Le Mercier & Roger Saunders.
