JPC vs CPC - BIRCH CABARET TROPHY

The first round of the Birch Cabaret Trophy took place on Sunday 12th July at the Carrefour terrains in St Lawrence and after four rounds, the result was 34 to 26 to the JPC team.

The second round of the competition was played at the Jersey Petanque Club’s terrains at Les Quennevais. The visitors had to make up the 8 game difference to stand a chance of winning but Carrefour struggled in the first two rounds by losing 10-5 in each. The next two rounds also went to JPC 8-7 and 9-6 this meant that the Jersey Petanque Club won the shield, 71 to 49.

The shield was presented to Club Captain Lawrence Rondel by CPC Captain Chris Romeril.
