In the JPA Island Doubles competition, held on 19th June, Dorothy & Gordon de Gruchy successfully defended their title.

The four group winners were all from JPC and the semi finals saw the de Gruchys beat Linda Taylor & Ken Vibert 13-4 and Elaine & Fred Paisnel beat Joan & Denis Le Mercier in a much closer game, 13-12. In the final, the holders hung on to their trophy by winning 13-7.

Three of the four semi-finalists in the Singles championships, played on 10th July, also came from JPC.  Tony Allchurch beat Joan Lewis 13-11 and Matthew Pinel, last year's winner booked his place in the final with a 13-7 win over Dave Grover of Carrefour Club.

In the final, Tony won in style, 13-3.
